Low blood pressure is medically termed as hypertension.
Mild low blood pressure symptoms are not usually need any treatment, but
hypertension can also cause serious heart problems, fainting,

Background, blood pressure (BP) is the pressure
that is generated by the pumping of blood. The heart pumps blood to be
delivered to the body and pumps continuously. To oxygenate the blood, it is
pumped to the lungs where the oxygen supply is replenished.
To measure BP, two different types of pressure are
obtained. The first is the systolic pressure, which is the BP during
maximal contraction of the heart while the diastolic BP is between heart beats
or when the heart is at rest and openness.
To determine the BP of a person, the health care provider
must obtain both systolic and diastolic pressure. Systolic pressure
is higher than the diastolic pressure, and is measured by millimeters of
mercury.
A person who has a reading of 90/60 mm Hg or less is
considered hypertensive or with low BP. Low BP may
indicate an underlying medical condition that needs immediate medical
attention.
The most common low blood pressure symptoms include
blurred vision, dizziness, fatigue, palpitations, thirst, rapid and shallow
breathing, nausea, fainting, clammy and pale skin, and a general feeling of
weakness.
In general, there are other types of hypertension as hypertension
orthostatic and postprandial hypertension. In hypertension
orthostatic BP drops when there is a sudden change in position while the
postprandial hypertension refers to lower BP after eating causing dizziness,
lightheadedness, and fainting.
There are several factors that can be attributed to low
blood pressure and these include intake of certain drugs, with serious
bleeding or injuries, dehydration, diabetes, heart disease, pregnancy, and
certain food disorders .
There are some medications that can help in the treatment
of hypertension. To prevent problems with traffic, it is important to keep
your physical body.
